With back-to-back holidays and winter weather across the country, airports nationally are telling travelers to give themselves extra time to ensure they don't miss that flight.
"We are going to be busy the next two days. (Hash) Travel tip: Give yourself plenty of time when coming to the airport," said Phoenix Sky Harbor in a tweet on Sunday.

Monday morning, the airport told travelers to arrive at least 3 hours early.

According to FlightAware.com's Misery Map, 25 flights have been delayed and three have been canceled at Sky Harbor, as of 10 a.m.
Some simple traveling tips if you're headed out this week:
- Give yourself extra time to get to the airport, check in, through security and to the gate.
- Double-check with your airline to see if your flight is on-time, delayed or even canceled.
- Double-check to make sure you have your boarding pass, wallet and government-issued ID or passport.
