Three people have been taken to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash spun into people on a downtown Phoenix sidewalk on Thursday.000
Phoenix Police Officer James Holmes said the crash happened at 7th Avenue and Jefferson and involved two pedestrians, a Phoenix Police Department Tahoe and a pick-up truck.
The pickup reportedly turned without yielding to traffic, clipping the police vehicle, pushing it into two people standing on the sidewalk.
Both pedestrians and the driver of the pick-up were taken to the hospital, said Holmes. The two pedestrians involved in the crash remain hospitalized in stable condition, and the driver of the pick up truck has been released.

The officer was evaluated by paramedics at the scene and is fine, said Holmes.
