Phoenix police say a man shot during an argument on Sunday morning has died.
Brandon Branch, 34, was reportedly shot during an altercation near 37th Avenue and Camelback Road around 9:30 a.m.
Police say Branch was in an ongoing dispute with his ex-wife. His ex-wife and her friend reportedly went to confront Branch. At that time, Branch pointed a gun at the woman and her friend responded by pulling a gun of his own.
Branch and the man exchanged gunfire, but only Branch was hit.
Police say the shooter left the area, but was stopped nearby and is cooperative with police.
