Police are investigating after a man was found shot dead inside a home in Phoenix.
A neighbor reportedly called in a welfare check on Wednesday night for the man who lived at a home near 10th Avenue and Buckeye Road. The neighbor said the man had not been seen for several days.
When police arrived, they found the man who was dead and had suffered a gunshot wound.
Family tells ABC15 the victim, a 53-year-old man, was also found severely beaten. They reportedly last saw him alive on Monday.
His car was also reportedly missing from the home.
According to information at the scene, there is no evidence of forced entry.
