Phoenix Police are searching for an attempted armed robbery suspect in the area of 16th Street between Camelback Road and Highland Avenue.
Police say the suspect approached the victim in an apartment parking lot. The suspect took off on foot after the victim fought back.
Police set up a perimeter in the area, blocking off streets, using a K-9 unit and helicopter to try and locate the suspect.
The suspect is still on the run.
