Power restored for thousands of customers after monsoon storms 9/18

PHOENIX — Thousands of utility customers were without power around the Valley after a monsoon storm Saturday.

Heavy rain rolled through parts of the Valley in the afternoon causing over 5,000 to be without power.

Between APS and SRP, as of 5:50 p.m., there are about 1,400 customers currently without power.
