Nearly a dozen candidates are being considered for a vacancy on the Maricopa County Supreme Court.
The county's Commission on Trial Court Appointments will hold a public hearing next month for input on 11 candidates.
No comments will be accepted after that.
The commission will then recommend at least three of the nominees to Gov. Doug Ducey, who will appoint a new judge.
The hearing is scheduled for Feb. 10 at 8:30 a.m. in the Arizona State Courts Building.
