Police are asking for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery from a car dealership earlier this month.

Around 5 p.m. on July 9, Phoenix police say a man walked into Auto Action dealership near 19th Avenue and Van Buren Street.

The suspect, identified as a Hispanic man who is approximately 35 years old, pointed a handgun at an employee and demanded cash.

The worker handed over an undisclosed amount of money, and the suspect got into a gray Mazda 5 minivan and drove away.

The man is described as 5' 9" tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing a red hat, bandana, tan long-sleeved shirt and dark pants at the time of the robbery, police said. He was last seen driving south on 19th Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS. Those who provide tips leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
