A group of kids got an unexpected snow day today, and they didn't have to go up north to wear their scarves and gloves!
Even though the high in Phoenix was only in the 70s, the cold, white snow made its way down to the Valley.
Four tons of snow were delivered to the main campus of the Foundation for Blind Children.
The surprise was fun and filled with sledding and snowball making (and snowball fights!) for the pre-school and elementary kids from across Maricopa County.
Some of the kids made slow angels while others enjoyed walking over the slippery surface, which was a whole new experience for some.
