Authorities say two suspects are in custody after a pursuit that ended near Banner University Medical Center.
Phoenix police say officers were trying to arrest a person with a felony warrant for a weapons violation, among other charges.
Officers say that 25-year-old Leonard Villagomez fled from a traffic stop late Thursday afternoon near 43rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.
The chase led police to the emergency room at the hospital near 11th Street and McDowell, where Villagomez got out and ran into the building.
Police say the hospital was briefly placed on lockdown as a precaution before the suspects were found hiding in the attic on the second floor. The lockdown has since been lifted.
