Police say a suspect is at large after a man was found shot and killed in Phoenix on Tuesday morning.
According to Phoenix police, just before 11:30 a.m., officers responded to an apartment near 22nd Avenue and Indian School Road for a report of shots fired.
As officers arrived, they located 30-year-old Disean Russell with an apparent gunshot injury.
Fire personnel responded and pronounced Russell dead at the scene.
Witnesses told authorities the suspect, an African-American man in his early thirties, was seen getting into a dark-colored four-door sedan with tinted windows and leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as having medium-dark complexion, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt and light colored shorts.
