Phoenix fire officials are investigating after a suspicious white powder was found on a piece of mail in the City Hall mail room.
The mail room scanner picked up the substance, prompting an emergency response to the downtown Phoenix building on Tuesday morning.
Fire officials say no one was exposed to the substance and there is no immediate threat to the building or people inside.
Still, a hazardous materials team and bomb squad are investigating the substance.
