More than 100 volunteers planted thousands of American flags Tuesday morning on the University of Phoenix lawn to spell a special message for our service men and women.
The 10,000 flags spelled out the message, "Salute To Sacrifice."
The flags will be removed on Friday and donated to cemeteries throughout the Valley.
