Two people are dead following a shooting in Phoenix on Thursday night.
According to Phoenix police, the shooting happened near 24th Street and Van Buren shortly before 9 p.m.

Witnesses reportedly told police that at least four people were seen shooting at each other and that two men were injured as a result. They were taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Phoenix police said Friday morning that the two victims taken to the hospital were later pronounced dead. They have been identified as 22-year-old Delano Mathis and 47-year-old Perry Sueing.
