Walmart Inc. is expanding its delivery options from its website and will debut the new service in Phoenix.
Starting Tuesday, Walmart will offer a variety of general merchandise to customers the following day after ordering. The company is calling the service NextDay, and is looking to beef up its competition with online retail giant Amazon.comInc.
Besides NextDay, Walmart already offers same-day grocery delivery, same-day grocery pickup and free two-day shipping.
