A massive dust storm built up south of the Valley Sunday afternoon and moved into the Phoenix metro area starting just before 5 p.m.
It progressed through the Valley, moving through parts of Chandler, Ahwatukee and Tempe before entering central Phoenix and eventually covering up the downtown skyline and Camelback Mountain.
The dust caused delays for some flights into and out of Sky Harbor International Airport, though ABC15 reporters continued to observe planes taking off and landing throughout the storm.
