The westbound lanes of Interstate 10 have reopened at interstate 17 (the Split) after a rollover crash.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, a rollover involving a semi-truck closed the freeway overnight.
The Department of Public Safety said a heavy load shifted on a curve, rolling the semi on its side. The cleanup was slow because the metal was so heavy.
The freeway reopened around 5:45 a.m.
The driver of the semi-truck was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Traffic was rerouted to northbound Interstate 17 during the closure.
