Police say a pedestrian was seen near a bus stop and began to cross the street heading west. At that point, a northbound vehicle hit the pedestrian, causing serious injuries.
The pedestrian, a 38-year-old woman, was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash. She was taken to the hospital where she died.
