PHOENIX — The Badger Fire burning near Sunset Point is now 100% contained, according to fire officials.
The fire started Friday, June 21 in the median west of Badger Springs adjacent to Interstate 17, causing closures of north and southbound lanes.
Officials say the fire is human caused, but there is no word yet on exactly how the 2,500-acre fire started.
