Body found in north Phoenix, homicide investigation underway

PHOENIX — Police are investigating a homicide after a man's body was found in north Phoenix Monday.

Officials were called to the desert area near Via Puzzola and Carefree Highway around 6:30 a.m. to check someone's welfare. At that location, they found a dead man who appeared to be the victim of a homicide.

The body has since been identified as that of 31-year-old Glenn Meno, who was located behind a community pool.

A medical examiner will determine the cause of death.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (480-TESTIGO for Spanish).
