Police are investigating after multiple puppies were removed from a north Phoenix home.

The Arizona Humane Society is working with the Phoenix Police Department after it was discovered five puppies were allegedly living in deplorable conditions near Bell and Cave Creek Roads.

The humane society removed the dogs, they are all in critical condition and infected with parvo. The puppies are being care for by a medical team in the Parvo Puppy Intensive Care Unit.

ABC15 reached out to the Humane Society who said they’re looking into the situation but were advised by Phoenix police to not discuss the case because it is under investigation.

No arrests have been made so far.
