Troopers are investigating after a serious four-car crash on SR-51 Friday morning.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the crash occurred near Union Hills Drive around 6:20 a.m. It is believed that an initial crash caused a secondary crash.
Victims in the crash suffered serious injuries, but their exact condition is not yet known.
The HOV lane was blocked for some time but all lanes have been reopened as of 8:15 a.m.
