PHOENIX — A 3-year-old is recovering after a near-drowning near 13th Avenue and Union Hills Drive Sunday morning.
Phoenix fire crews say they arrived within three to four minutes of the drowning call and transported the boy to the hospital for further evaluation.
On Monday afternoon, Phoenix Fire officials said the boy is "awake, alert and expected to make a full recovery."
Circumstances surrounding the near-drowning are unclear at this time.
