Phoenix police say the driver of a car that rolled over on Happy Valley Road near 61st Avenue has died.
The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. and had Happy Valley Rd closed between 55th Avenue and 61st Avenue closed for several hours.
One car reportedly left the roadway at some point and struck a pole, causing the car to roll. One woman was taken to the hospital with very serious injuries, and later died, according to police.
Glendale Community College North Campus was closed until about noon due to the fact that the crash happened at the Happy Valley Road entranceto the school.
