A vehicle fire closed both portions of interstate 17 on Thursday night.
Phoenix fire said a cement truck caught fire at Interstate 17 and Cactus Road around 11:00 p.m.
The driver of the truck was able to get out of his vehicle. There were no injuries reported.
The truck was reportedly carrying a full tank of diesel.
All lanes of interstate 17 have now reopened.
