Phoenix fire crews responded to a first-alarm fire on Friday involving three homes.
Captain Ardell Deliz, public information officer for Phoenix Fire Department, said the fire began at one home and then spread to two other homes nearby. The incidents took place near 10th Avenue and Bell Road.
Air15 video showed heavy smoked coming from the roof of at least one home that had solar panels. The back of the home and backyard were severely damaged and charred.
Deliz said no injuries were reported and investigators were called to determine what caused the fire.
