PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in a deadly shooting near 27th Avenue and Northern.
Officers were called to a parking lot in the area around 2:00 p.m. Friday for reports of a shooting.
When they arrived they located a man with gun shot injuries. Paramedics transported him to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
His name hasn't been released by police.
While on scene, investigators learned that the victim was outside with a female when he was confronted by the suspect.
The suspect shot the man and left before officers arrived, according to Phoenix PD.
The female was not injured.
The investigation remains ongoing and anybody with information is urged to contact the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
