Maricopa County Sheriff's officials are searching for a woman who fled during a search warrant incident in North Phoenix.
MCSO and SWAT teams were serving a warrant at a home in the area of 7th Avenue and Jomax around 6:30 a.m. Friday.
Multiple people were inside the home with misdemeanor and felony drug warrants. Two people exited the home willingly, two others exited after officials deployed gas and another woman took off on foot.
Officials searched the area for the woman, but she was not located. She was last seen running southbound and was wearing a dark striped tank top, dark sweatpants and no shoes. She is not a danger to the public.
One of the SWAT officers was reportedly bitten by a dog inside the house, but is expected to be OK. The dog was taken in good health by animal control, MCSO says.
