PHOENIX — A man is accused of killing his girlfriend at a north Phoenix home Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to the home near 19th Avenue and Beardsley Road around 4 p.m. in response to an assault.
Police found 58-year-old Lori Williams, who had been seriously injured. Investigators believe her boyfriend, 43-year-old Jeffrey Michael Rhine, caused her injuries.
Williams died after the incident, officials say.
Police located Rhine at another location and took him into custody.
He was booked into jail on a charge of first-degree murder.
