A grocery store employee was stabbed in Phoenix on Wednesday.
The incident happened at the Safeway on Tatum Boulevard and Greenway Parkway around 2 p.m.
Phoenix police said a combative shoplifter stabbed a store employee. The victim was transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening injuries.
According to police, the suspect was able to run from the scene before officers arrived. No one is in custody at this time.
A description of the suspect is unknown.
