Police are looking for a man who reportedly shoved a woman and stole her dog while she was out for a walk on Wednesday night.

According to officials, the victim was walking her black and white pit bull named Zeus in the area of 19th Avenue and Union Hills Drive around 9 p.m.

It was initially reported that the suspect, a 6-foot-tall man wearing all black, approached the woman and shoved her from behind. He then allegedly stole her dog before getting away in a car.

However, police later said no robbery occurred and they've identified the so-called suspect in the case. It's believed that the woman and the man got into an argument but no additional information was provided.

The dog still has not been located.
