PHOENIX — Two people were rushed to the hospital after a collision in North Phoenix Saturday night.
Emergency crews were called to the scene near 35th Avenue and Thunderbird Road around 9:45 p.m.
Police say a Chevy Sedan driving northbound ran a red light on 35th Avenue, colliding with a westbound Honda Accord on Thunderbird.
The driver of the Honda was ejected from this vehicle, but police say the injuries are non-life-threatening. Another victim suffered serious injuries. The victims are not being identified at this time.
Police say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
