Authorities are searching for a suspect involved in an armed burglary and shots fired incident Thursday afternoon.
A Phoenix Police Department spokesperson said a family arrived home at 13th Avenue and Union Hills Drive to find an armed burglar.
One of the residents and the burglar fired shots at each other, and the suspect took off. No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
Officers are searching for the suspect and say he has yet to be apprehended.
No further information was immediately available.
