PHOENIX — A three-year-old girl has died after she was found in a swimming pool in Phoenix Tuesday.
Phoenix Fire officials say the girl was found unconscious and not breathing near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road Tuesday after 4 p.m.
Paramedics arrived and began life-saving measures while rushing her to a hospital.
She was later pronounced dead, according to Phoenix Police Department officials.
It is unknown how long the girl was underwater.
The investigation remains ongoing.
