A Phoenix pool was forced to shut down during what would normally be a busy summer weekend after vandals threw paint in the water.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, officer were called out to the David C. Uribe Pool, located near 38th Avenue and Cactus Road, on Saturday.
Officers say between Thursday from 5 p.m. to Saturday at 10 a.m., someone or a group of people poured white paint into the adult and baby pools at the complex.
The pool was shut down in order to drain and clean the area; it will be refilled.
Police have no suspect(s) description at the time; anyone with details about the vandalism are encouraged to contact the Phoenix Police Department.
