Authorities are asking for the public's help finding a suspect who held a customer at knifepoint while robbing a north Phoenix convenience store last week.

Police say the incident happened December 3 at 11:43 a.m. at the Circle K store near 40th Street and Union Hills Drive.

Detectives say the the victim was using the air pumps when the suspect grabbed her and held her at knifepoint and demanded she go inside the store.

The suspect approached the clerk while holding the victim at knifepoint and told the clerk he would kill her if he did not get money from the cash register.

The suspect obtained cash and cigarettes before he left the store while still holding the victim at knifepoint. Police say he fled in the victims' vehicle which was found abandoned nearby.

The suspect is described as a White male, 18-25 years old, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 170 lbs., wearing a white hoodie, black jeans, white shoes, dark hat, black mask, and dark gloves with the thumbs uncovered.
