PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a body was found at a park near 7th and Peoria avenues Sunday afternoon.
Officials were called to Mountain View Park around 12:30 p.m. for reports of a dead body. There, police found the body of 30-year-old Bernardo Pantaleon with a gunshot wound.
Police are investigating the man's death as a homicide. No information about a possible shooter has been provided.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness if they wish to remain anonymous.
