PHOENIX — Police are investigating after a body was found near 44th Street and McDowell Road Thursday morning.
Just after 9:30 a.m., officers responded to the area for a report of an injured person.
Fire crews also responded to the scene and a man was located. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the incident is being treated as a death investigation.
No other details were provided.
An investigation is underway.
