PHOENIX — A man is facing aggravated assault charges in connection to the stabbing of a QuikTrip employee Tuesday.

The incident happened at the location near 27th and Northern avenues just before 11:30 a.m.

Court paperwork shows the employee was inside a bathroom at the QT cleaning a stall when the suspect entered and began attacking him with the knife.

The employee was reportedly punched in the face and suffered a cut to his left hand.
