One man died and another was injured after a shooting in south Phoenix Friday night.
Phoenix police said officers responded to a business for a fight near Southern Avenue and 16th Street just after 10 p.m. Additional calls were also made about shots being fired.
When officers arrived at the scene, police said 32-year-old Walter Wood was found with gunshot injuries and was pronounced dead.
Authorities said a second victim, a 34-year-old man, was taken to a hospital by a friend with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect(s) were gone before police arrived at the scene.
Police said there are no suspect descriptions available at this time.
An investigation is underway.
