An accident at South Mountain Park seriously injured three people and killed one 19-year-old woman on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, a vehicle which was transporting four individuals was driving too fast when it left the road and hit a boulder and then rolled over.
Police said Maribeth Magallanes was pronounced dead, and three people were transported to hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. Police believe none of the passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
Images from Air15 showed one individual who was carried out on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance from the scene.
Police are investigating the incident.
