Police say two officers have been transported to the hospital in serious condition after a crash in south Phoenix.
Phoenix fire said a police cruiser and two other vehicles were involved in the crash near 16th Street and Euclid Avenue just after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
A pickup truck was traveling southbound on 16th Street at a high rate of speed when it struck the patrol vehicle, police said on scene. The patrol vehicle then spun into a school bus that was traveling northbound.
There were 12 children on the bus, but none of them were injured. Air15 showed officials escorting students from one bus to another.
The bus driver was treated for minor injuries, and the driver of the pickup truck was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
