PHOENIX — A man is dead after he was hit by a truck near 51st Avenue and Baseline Road Wednesday night.
Officials say the man was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries.
The driver of the truck stayed at the scene and "is cooperating with the investigation."
East and west traffic along Baseline Road is closed while the incident is under investigation, according to police.
