PHOENIX — Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Phoenix.
Officers responded to the area of 28th Street and Broadway Road for a shooting call on Wednesday night. When they arrived, they located a man who had been shot.
The man, later identified as 18-year-old Corrieontae King, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but died from his injuries.
Just over a week later on September 5, detectives located and arrested 19-year-old Jaiden Clark for the shooting death of King.
Clark was booked into 4th Avenue Jail for second-degree Murder.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
