Authorities are investigating after a man was shot in the hand Monday night.
Phoenix police officers responded to the scene near 7th Avenue and Dobbins Road around 9:30 p.m.
A police spokesman said the victim was shot by an unknown subject in a black SUV.
The incident was reported as a drive-by shooting, but police said the circumstances surrounding what happened were still under investigation.
