Police in Phoenix are investigating after two people were involved in an argument and a weapon went off during the altercation.
Police were called out to a home near 16th Street and Broadway Road for reports of shots fired.
Once at the scene, police learned two people were fighting when one of the individuals was struck by gunfire.
Police said one of the involved parties had a gun on them at the time of the fight.
The person who was injured was struck in the arm and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The weapon was recovered; police are investigating.
