Police are looking for armed suspect who robbed a Shell Gas Station in Phoenix

Authorities are asking the public in help identifying a robbery suspect.

According to police, the suspect entered a Shell Gas Station near 40th Street and Southern Avenue in Phoenix around 8 a.m. Friday September 23.

Police say the suspect acted as a customer before showing the clerk a gun and demanded money.

After receiving money from the clerk, the suspect fled on foot.

The suspect is believed to be a black male, 20-30 years old, around 5 foot 10 inches, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and a trimmed goatee.

He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black long shorts, and red shoes.

Anyone with information should contact Phoenix police or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.

Silent Witness is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
