PHOENIX — Police are still looking for information after a newborn baby was found dead behind a Phoenix business in September.
On Wednesday, Silent Witness announced that investigators have yet to solve the case of the newborn baby boy who was found dead near 35th Avenue and Baseline Road on Sept. 24.
Bystanders located the baby in a black backpack inside a dumpster on the west side of a business center in the area. The baby was not identified but was described as a full-term newborn with an umbilical cord still intact.
A homicide flyer released by Silent Witness showed the backpack and dumpster at the center of the case.
Silent Witness is offering up to $1,000 as a reward for anyone with information about the homicide.
