PHOENIX — Three people are hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday morning at an abandoned warehouse.

Officials with the Phoenix Police Department say the victims were shot around 1:00 a.m. while a party was taking place at the warehouse near 19th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.

Authorities say the three victims showed up at two separate hospitals, including Dignity Health Hospital - Laveen.

A 17-year-old girl and 18-year-old man are said to have serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Additionally, a 17-year-old boy is at a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Officers learned the address of the party from witnesses at the hospitals.

When they arrived at the warehouse it was already empty. It appeared a chain-link fence had been cut to gain entrance to the strucure.

Detectives learned that a fight occurred outside of the warehouse. During the fight, an unknown male fired multiple rounds striking the three victims. Everyone fled the scene and the victims were driven to hospitals.

The investigation remains ongoing.
