Phoenix police are looking for the driver who fled from a deadly crash involving a pedestrian overnight.
Officials say the crash happened around 39th and Southern avenues around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
A woman, later identified as 37-year-old Angela Innis, was reportedly struck by a vehicle while crossing Southern Avenue. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police did not disclose any description of the vehicle that struck the woman, but say the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
